NOTE: This mailing commences the beginning of the second half of the Book of Acts. Chapters 1-12 dealt primarily with the ministry of Peter - apostle to the circumcision. Chapters 13-28 deal primarily with the ministry of the Holy Spirit through the Apostle Paul to the Gentiles, the uncircumcision.

It starts out in 13:1-3 with the Holy Spirit inaugurating the beginning of a wider mission through the Presbytery of the church of Antioch, composed of Prophets and Teachers. In February of 1948, this “Presbytery Concept” was restored in a clearer manner after some 1900 years, in the North Battleford, Saskatchewan Visitation. Concomitant, or along with this restoration, came the restoration of the 5-fold equipping ministry of Ephesians 4:11-12, majoring on Apostles and Prophets. Three of the five Presbytery members present, obeyed the Holy Spirit by first checking, but then launching Barnabas and Saul upon Paul's first missionary journey. Notice the word “lei-tourGOUNton: - “ministered'. This was one of the 5 chief callings for the OT Levitical ministry in type and shadows. Nowit takes on a NT “One New Man” mystery importance. It has been said by some that the church today has lost the secret working of the Holy Spirit in this concept, and often it is but empty hands on empty heads. But it was notthis way in the beginning. We need to add to these 2 restored revival principles of 1948 with the other 10, - the 12 altogether linked with the 12 tribes of Israel, and the12 world-wide cultural groups. (To follow through on these 12 Revival Principles brought together in the 1948 Visitation, please turn to our Website <www.2rbetter.org>. Click on “Embryonics”, and there you will find this triple listing of twelves.)

The First Nations People I see linked with the tribe of Issachar, and the “Sensitivity, Faithfulness and Obedience”, as one of the 12 Embryonic Revival Principles which today need to be brought to maturity. 7 of these 12 principles were strongly exemplified in the life of George Hawtin, who God was pleased to use to spearhead this 1948 Visitation; and this third one mentioned, appeared again and again in his life.

Was he perfect? Of course not. None is perfect but God manifested in Jesus Christ, who is pleased to live out His perfect, resurrected life through all surrendered disciples. Paul makes this explicitly clear in Galatians 2:20.

Acts 13:4-12 illustrates how the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Jesus - used Saul and Barnabas in Cyprus. J.A.W.
